Itinerary

Day 1: Visit to Kolsai Lake, Kaindy Lake, and Charyn Canyon

▸ Visit to Lake Kolsai and Kaindy Lake (300km, 4 hours)

▸ Depart towards Kolsai Lake
▸ Arrive at the village of Saty and have lunch
▸ Drive close to Lake Kolsai and park the car
▸ Explore and walk around the lake
▸ Optional boat ride on the lake
▸ Head towards Lake Kaindy
▸ Park the car near the river and continue on foot for 2 km or on horseback
▸ Explore the lake, take a walk, and enjoy the photo spots
▸ Return back to village
▸ We will drive towards the Charyn canyon
▸ Take a walk in Charyn Canyon, visit observation decks, and hire a car or walk to descend into the canyon and come back up.
▸ Head back towards Almaty.
