Itinerary

Day 1: Almaty city tour

▸Breakfast
▸Visit Kok-Tobe hill, the highest point on the mountain with an excellent view of the entire city and plenty of entertainment options.
▸Explore Green Bazaar, the oldest market in the city, known for its vibrant atmosphere and interesting sights.
▸Visit the oldest church in Central Asia. Zenkov Cathedral (Ascension Cathedral)
▸Lunch @ Vahtanguri Georgian Restaurant
▸We will visit the Presidential park
▸Take a stroll along Arbat Street, a pedestrian street with various shops and attractions.
▸In the evening, I will take you to the hotel

Day 2: Visit to Lake Kolsai and Kaindy Lake (300km, 4 hours)

▸Breakfast
▸Depart towards Kolsai Lake
▸Arrive at the village of Saty and have lunch
▸Drive close to Lake Kolsai and park the car
▸Explore and walk around the lake
▸Optional boat ride on the lake
▸Head towards Lake Kaindy
▸Park the car near the river and continue on foot for 2 km or on horseback
▸Explore the lake, take a walk, and enjoy the photo spots
▸Return back to village and have dinner in guest house
▸ Overnight stay

Day 3: Visit Charyn Canyon and Big Almaty Lake

▸Breakfast
▸Take a walk in Charyn Canyon, visit observation decks, and hire a car or walk to descend into the canyon and come back up.
▸Head back towards Almaty. Upon arriving in the city, we will visit the Big Almaty Lake.
▸A walk near the lake. A stroll through the Moon Glade.
▸In the evening, I will take you to the hotel.
