Certainly, the most famous attraction of the park is the Charyn Canyon, a picturesque natural wonder that captivates with its otherworldly landscapes. With depths reaching 200 meters and cliffs towering 150 to 300 meters high, the canyon is a natural monument formed by sedimentary rocks dating back 12 million years. The landscapes are truly breathtaking, especially at sunset when the canyon is painted in hues of crimson, pink, and orange. Amidst the silence, the rushing waters of the Charyn River echo against the sheer cliffs, creating a spectacle that leaves no one indifferent.

One of the canyon's highlights is the so-called Valley of Castles, where rock formations resembling towers stretch over 2 kilometers in length and vary in width from 20 to 80 meters. The diverse landscape of the Charyn Canyon supports a rich variety of flora and fauna, including over 1500 plant species, 17 of which are listed in Kazakhstan's Red Book, as well as 62 mammal species, 103 nesting bird species, and 25 reptile species.
